If you're still looking for summer travel plans, you're in luck: Ace Hotels is currently offering a 20 percent discount on rooms at all of its locations except for Seattle. We repeat—almost all locations. That means you can stay anywhere from Palm Springs, to London, to New Orleans on the (relative) cheap. The booking period is valid between now and September 3, giving you plenty of time to request that well-earned time off. All you have to do is enter the code "FRUITSALAD" and make your reservation before 11:59 p.m. PST on June 8th: Blackout dates and restrictions vary by property, so read the fine print.

We love Ace for its buzzy, design-minded hotels. One of our favorites? The Ace Hotel Downtown Los Angeles, which won a spot on our 2017 Readers' Choice Awards, as well as a place on our best hotels in L.A. list. Highlights include the three-story lobby, custom-made Pendleton blankets in rooms, and on-site restaurant My Best Girl, according to Traveler Contributor Brooke Porter Katz. (Don't leave without trying the grilled Duroc pork chop.) Alternatively, the Ace Hotel New York is always a solid bet, where you can find "arguably the best burger in Manhattan" (strong words), and retro-chic rooms—turntables included. So what are you waiting for? Get booking!

Next year, keep an eye out for the addition of the Ace Hotel Kyoto, which is scheduled to open late 2019—hopefully, the fruit salad days sale will reprise for the debut. The property will be designed by Kengo Kuma—the architect behind the Opposite House in Beijing and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Stadium—and close to Nijō Castle.
