You Won’t Believe This Treetop Hotel Suite
The Treehotel, nestled in the tall pine forests of northern Sweden, today opened its newest and most remarkable addition—the 7th Room. Realized by renowned international design firm Snøhetta, the accommodation, which is supported by 12 columns and hovers nearly 33 feet in the air, features breathtaking views of the Lapland treetops, the Lule River, and the Aurora Borealis through expansive windows and from a netted terrace suspended above the forest floor. The cabin, whose façade is clad in pine boards as a nod to traditional Nordic design, is split over two levels and can comfortably accommodate five guests. Here, AD takes a tour of the breathtaking space on its opening day.
