Airbnb is full of unusual homes you can rent, including farms, entire private islands, and houseboats. Celebrities such as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Lady Gaga, and Drake are partial to lavish rental homes that cost thousands a night when on tour or vacation, which is why it's a bit surprising that the most wished for Airbnb listing is not a mansion, but a treehouse.

And not any old regular treehouse. The listing in Atlanta, Georgia, actually consists of three separate rooms connected by rope bridges, features antique furniture, parachute sheets, and twinkling lights. The treehouse has more than 300,000 site visits per month, and 147,052 people have saved it to their Airbnb "wish lists," making it the most desired listing on the site, according to the Today show.

If you're one of thousands who have bookmarked the listing, it's best to act quickly and think ahead to future plans—the next slot available for more than one night is not until April 2018, and the soonest full weekend open is in July 2018, a full year away.

For $375 a night, the treehouse sleeps two and has a bed with wheels, so you can literally sleep under the stars. People love the treehouse so much that they are booking it for more than just a weekend getaway—it has hosted wrap parties for casts of The Hunger Games and Dumb and Dumber To, as well as multiple proposals and weddings, Today adds.

For non-outdoorsy people, the allure of a treehouse right in the heart of Atlanta might not be so obvious. But there are certainly flocks of those who seek refuge from bustling city life. Peter Bahouth, the owner who built the treehouse 18 years ago, told Today, "I’ve tried to understand why it’s been so popular. I think it’s a simple response to a complicated world for a lot of people."
